Day 1 (D)
At 12.00 you will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel and we depart to Kanchanaburi. On the way we stop in Nakhon Pathom and visit the biggest Buddhist pagoda in the world. Then we make a historical and scenic boat trip over the River Kwai, on the way you pass unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery to get to your accommodation, the Resotel. River Kwai RESOTEL is an authentic nature resort in that will captivate your heart and become one of your life-long experiences. It is a breath-taking place where you can enjoy and relax yourself in the tranquil world. A perfect blend of serenity, comfort and adventure, River Kwai Resotel is an ideal hideaway for those who wish to escape from the mundane life of a city for sometime. After check in you will make a boat trip to visit the nearby Mon village. This is the place where the movie “The Deerhunter” with Robert de Niro has been filmed. At the rafts a  Thai/Burmese dinner will be served, after that there will be a presentation of Mon dancing. Overnight at the Resotel DELUXE Chalet.

Day 2 (B,L,D)
Depart hotel by boat for an unforgettable tour through the River Kwai valley. After a 15-minute trip upstream, make first stop to visit the famous Kaeng Lava Cave —well known for its fantastic stone formations.
Continue upstream past numerous floating houses and bamboo jungle, for a first-hand impression of scenic upcountry river life. Arrive at Sai Yok Yai waterfalls for picnic lunch and beverages on a floating house. Afternoon free for swimming in the river and waterfalls, strolling through bamboo and teak forests, etc.  We spend the night at Hintok River Camp which  is an exceptionally safari tented camp stunningly located on a historical piece of land upon the pinnacle of Hintok mountain in Kanchanaburi, Thailand where the historical river, River Kwai runs through. We offer you a new style of relaxation while being close to the rhythm of nature with twenty-two spaciously deluxe canvas tents, featuring private bathrooms and outdoor showers with hot water, air-conditioning, private veranda and luxury furniture. The safari tented camp is by far the best choice to explore the tropical nature along with the memorable WW2 historical site. There is nothing to compare with staying in a luxurious tented camp in a beautiful setting with the sights and sounds of nature surrounded.


Day 3 (B,L,D)
In the morning we visit the Hellfire Pass,  then on to Sangklaburi where we visit a Karen hill tribe village, the Wat Wangvivegaram, a Mon temple in Burmese style and make a boat trip where we can see a submerged temple in a lake. Overnight in the Ponnatee resort, completely made from teakwood with a fantastic view of the nearby lake.

Day 4 (B,L,D)
After breakfast we go to the Three Pagoda Pass right at the Burmese border. If the border is open we could cross to the Burmese side. Lunch in a local restaurant.Then to the Erawan Falls with its beautiful water falls consisting of 7 steps. You can either swim in one of the lower falls or hike to the highest step. After that to the River Kwai Village River Wing for overnight and Dinner.



Day 5 (B,L)
Late morning you will go to Nam Tok train station and you will board the train over the Burma Railway, slowly moving along the wooden tracks. We arrive at the War Museum, we visit one of the many war cemeteries and the impressive bridge over the river Kwai. Then back to Bangkok by air conditioned minivan
