Day 1:
Transfer from Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong and overnight in the Nam Khong Riverside Hotel. If you do not want to go to Chiang Mai then it is possible that you fly from Bangkok to Chiang Rai and we will organize a transfer for you to Chiang Khong. Extra costs = flight ticket + THB 2.200 for private transfer. No discount for not use transfer Chiang Mai-Chiang Khong

Day 2:
Transfer to the border, cross by ferry to Laos where you can buy your Laos Visa (US $ 35). Then take the slow boat on the Mekong River to Pak Beng, overnight in Monsawan Guesthouse

Day 3: Arrival Luang Prabang
Leave from Pak beng for another day on the mighty Mekong. Upon arrival at the pier in Luang Prabang, you will meet our guide and transfer to Villa Somphong Hotel

Day 4: Luang Prabang
Free day to explore by yourselves. (B).

Day 5: Luang Prabang
Free day to explore by yourselves. ( B )

Day 6: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng
Following breakfast at hotel they shared minivan will pick up at hotel and drive to Vang Vieng, on the way we’ll see the scenery from the viewpoints. Vang Vieng is a small village settled between a spectacular spread of limestone karsts and is surrounded by lush green paddy fields and dwellings of ethnic minorities. We’ll arrive the town before sunset and check in your hotel which offers splendid sunsets amidst these magnificent natural settings. Overnight at Thavonsouk (B).

Day 7: Vang Vieng
Today is free to relax or explore Vang Vieng, a place famous for it’s limestone cliffs. You can visit the caves or cycle in the nearby countryside. Other alternatives include ‘tubing’ down the Nam Song River. Vang Vieng is also the perfect place to unwind(B).

Day 8: Vang Vieng - Vientiane
An approximately three hour drive will take us to the capital of Laos. Vientiane is a friendly sleepy town resting on the shores of the mighty Mekong river. Free day in the afternoon. Overnight at Win hotel.

Day 9: Vientiane – Bus station – Udonthani
Breakfast at hotel and free at leisure until transfer to the bus station for the bus to Udonthani. From here you take the sleeper train to Bangkok

Day 10:
Arrival in Bangkok early morning, end of tour
