Day 1
In the morning we visit hot springs and go to an Akha and a Yao hill tribe village. We continue to the old temples of Chiang Saen on the Mekong River. After that we visit the famous Golden Triangle, the point where Laos, Burma and Thailand converge. After lunch we drive to Mae Sai, the city on the border with Burma. You can see a lot of Burmese people and products here. If you want you can cross to the Burmese side and get a new 1 month visa for Thailand.
Then to Chiang Rai where you will stay in the cozy Golden Triangle Inn within walking distance of the night bazaar.
Day 2
Morning free at leisure, take for example a local tuk tuk to the fantastic white temple made by a Thai artist. Around midday you will take the air-conditioned coach back to Chiang Mai. This is where your tour ends.
