2 Day Bicycle Tour Nature and Adventure

Day 1
We pick you up at the hotel and travel by car to a small village outside Chiang Mai where our bikes are waiting for us. We cycle through villages where it seems time has stood still, while we stop at a local school and see the farmers working in rice paddies. Then to a large lake where the road ends, in this valley people lived until 1989 when the government decided to create a water supply for the entire Doi Saket valley. We get the bike on a boat which takes us to the other side, below us are sunken villages. At the other side, there is forest area; we stop here for a picnic lunch. Through a rolling landscape we reach the Mae Ngat Dam at the end of the afternoon where we take a long tail boat which takes us in half an hour to the center of the giant lake our accommodation is on floating bungalows, you can relax, swim, canoe or fish. Distance today 50 kilometers.

Day 2
After a delicious breakfast we take the boat back and we get back on the bike. We ride along the Ping River and enjoy on the beautiful landscape. Lunch in an orchid garden, then along quiet back roads to Chiang Mai, we end up outside Chiang Mai and the last part to our hotel we are again transported by car. Distance today 55 kilometers.
