2 Day Family Trek Area Chiang Dao

Day 1
Start of our two day trek. Drive north of Chiang Mai towards Phrao where we have lunch. From here we start our 2 hour walk to a Karen village. After that half hour walk to Lisu and Akha village. Then 1 hour walk to Palong village. We spend the night in the Palong village. See the Palong tribe who only recently came to settle in Thailand from Burma. Accommodation in a hill tribe house.

Day 2
Ride the elephants out of the Palong village for approx.1hr. Meet our transport and drive to the start of the rafting trip. After lunch board the rafts for a 1hr trip down the Ping River. Drive back to Chiang Mai.  

Note: If you do not like to walk or like to walk shorter we can arrange that by using the car more. You will still see the same villages
Note: This trek is suitable for people who do not want to walk a lot but still want to experience an overnight stay in a hill tribe village. Ideal for families with children.
