4 Day Trek Huay Nam Dang

Day 1
In the morning we drive for about 3 hours. After lunch we walk about 3 hours to a Lisu village where we will spend the night with this colorful tribe.

Day 2
Today total walking about 3 hrs 30 min. In the morning we will walk to a waterfall in the middle of the jungle. We can do some swimming here. After that we continue to walk through rice fields and plantations and have lunch at a farmer’s house. After lunch we continue to a Karen village. Accommodation in a hill tribe house.

Day 3
A total walking distance of 3 hrs to a hill tribe village where we will have lunch. After that we ride the elephants for about 1 hr20 min. to the elephant camp. Here we made our unique jungle camp where we will spend the night. You can swim in the river and we will make a campfire for you in the evening

Day 4
In the morning we will board the bamboo rafts and cruise down the river to go to Sop Kai, the point where we will have lunch and transport back to Chiang Mai. On the way we will stop at a Lahu and Akha village. We will arrive in the afternoon

NB This trek is a classic trek where there will be a lot of walking in an area hardly ever visited by other companies due to the distance from Chiang Mai. You have to carry tour own sleeping equipment and the facilities in the villages will be very simple.
