DAY 01

Arrival in Chiang Mai, we pick you up from airport, bus station or train station and bring you to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free of leisure. In the evening we go to KHANTOKE DINNER
This dinner is a nice introduction in the Lanna culture. The dinner will be served on a khantoke (=low round table) and consists of typical Northern Thai dishes. While you are eating you can enjoy a beautiful show with traditional live performed music.

DAY 02

An elephant friendly experience, a group of local people who take care of the elephants. They do not have to work with the elephant riding camps anymore. Experience a serene and peaceful moment in time away from the city.

We  pick  you up from your hotel around 8.00-8.30 am and drive approx 1.5 hours, south of Chiang Mai through nature landscapes, agricultural area, and forested hills.
Arrive at the Karen village and meet your guide. Meet the elephants, feed, interact, and play with the elephants in their natural home as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants and enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit. Take a mud spa with the elephants and walk with them to the beautiful waterfall. Bathe and brush the elephants and swim in the waterfall. After that we say good bye to the elephants and return to Chiang Mai. Drop off at your hotel approx 5.30 pm

DAY 03

Experience the Thai countryside by scooter, we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to the starting point of the tour outside Chiang Mai.  We will ride through traditional villages with wooden houses on stilts, ride through the ricefields along lazy backroads and stop at a village school. Encounters such as water buffalos crossing the street or children surprised by the unusual sight of foreigners in their village are to be expected.  Lunch in bamboo floating huts  at the banks of a beautiful lake. We continue our exploration of the lifestyle of local farmers, get to learn about the process of seasonal rice farming and pay respect to a huge standing Buddha at the top of a hill.Distance  around 50 km, Roads 100 % paved country roads, a few hills
If you do no not like a scooter tour you can choose a half or full day bicycle tour also

DAY 04

Zipline Eco adventure. Whipping fast through the air on ziplines, with the jungle on both sides as you fly by, you will leave the busy world behind and immerse yourself deep in the jungle. Around the zipline course are platforms suspended high up in the trees, with the spectacular jungle view surrounding you and paddy fields along the MaeRam river far below. These are the take off point and landing zone for many of our ziplines.

For some other platforms there are bridges and steps that are used to traverse between platforms. Our “Kung Fu Steps” are our homage to martial artist Bruce Lee, where you can step, or almost hop, from one step to the next until you reach the next platform at the other side. As with all activities with Eagle Track, safety is the number one priority, so for our bridges you will be hooked into a safety cable that runs above you.

That way you can have fun without worrying about falling down. From one platform you have choice whether to descend using a spiral staircase or to take the faster route and abseil down instead! The abseiling is performed while you are hooked into a safety cable with the rate of descent carefully controlled by our staff. Our “Zig-zag walkway” is a unique invention made of wooden planks that zig zag across to gradually make their way to the next platform
